Using ReCult/Businesses
For brands & shops

Businesses

Run a shop, venue, service, or brand? ReCult is built to put you in front of the people who are actually nearby. This page covers posting as a business the right way.

Why post as a business

Set up a brand identity

A brand identity lets your posts come from your business instead of your personal name.

  1. Create a brand. Add your business name, a short handle, and your default city.
  2. Set a default category. Pick the category you post in most, so new posts start in the right place.
  3. Add a logo or photo (optional). A recognizable image helps people spot you on Pulse.
  4. Post as your brand. When composing, choose your brand as the author instead of yourself.

Choose who a post is from — you, or one of your brands.

Deeper brand management — like team access and verified ownership — is still being built. If you see a Coming soon label in brand settings, that part isn’t live yet.

Be clear you’re a business

Some categories — like Pop-ups & Markets, Services, and Deals & Promos — ask you to disclose that a post is from a business. This keeps ReCult honest: people can tell the difference between a neighbor’s tip and a promotion.

Do

Post your real special, event, or offer under a business identity, and check the disclosure when asked.

Don’t

Dress up an ad as an organic neighbor post. Posing a promo as a personal tip can get it reported and removed.

Listings & reach

Business posts can use the same reach options as any post:

Prices are always shown in the app before you confirm. Certain business categories may be reviewed before a paid promotion goes live, to keep the network trustworthy.

Tips for local businesses

Think like a regular, not a billboard. The businesses that do best on ReCult post the way a helpful local would — timely, specific, and worth a neighbor’s Beep.
